drive, offering tranquil boat cruises between the towns
of Dartmouth and Totnes, both well worth exploring.
There are many National Trust properties
locally, the closest, the impressive 14th Century
Compton Castle being only 5
minutes walk away.

other visitor attractions including Paignton Zoo, Buckfast
Abbey, Woodlands Leisure Park, Pennywell Farm and a choice
of 2 local Steam Train journeys are but a few examples
of the vast choice of places of interest for all ages and
interests.

cleanest, safest and sheltered sandy beaches within 10
to 20 minutes drive or take the Kingswear ferry to access
the spectacular beaches of the South Hams including Blackpool
Sands.
The nearby towns of Torquay,
Paignton, Newton Abbot, Totnes and Dartmouth offer
a variety of shopping with a wealth of local produce,
Farm Shops and only 10 minutes from large Marks & Spencer and Sainsbury’s
stores. As well as an excellent selection of Tea Rooms,
